Dr. Rosemary Sutton began her career as an educator teaching junior high and high school math in New Zealand. She then moved to the USA earning a master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois and a PhD in Human Development from Pennsylvania State University. In 1983 she accepted a teaching position at Cleveland State University and became a tenured professor. Rosemary then moved to administration in 2004, becoming CSU’s Director of Assessment, then Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies, and finally Vice Provost for Academic Programs. In 2013, she was appointed Vice President for Student Learning and Success at Cascadia College.
