Daniel W. Surry is an Associate Professor of Instructional Design and Development at the University of South Alabama (USA). In that capacity, he advises master’s and doctoral students and teaches courses related to instructional design, performance technology, and large scale training systems. His research and consulting interests focus on the implementation of technology and the interaction between technology, people, and systems. He holds a Doctor of Education from The University of Georgia and a Master’s of Science from the University of South Alabama. Prior to joining the faculty at USA, he worked at the University of Southern Mississippi, the University of Alabama, and California State University, Fresno.
